Chelsea remain keen on Charlie Austin

Newcastle, Chelsea and West Ham are in three-way battle for QPR striker Charlie Austin, according to Daily Express.

The England international is fully expected to return to the Premier League this summer after being relegated with Queens Park Rangers in May.

A whole host of clubs have been interested, with Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren reported to have agreed a deal with QPR bosses.

Those reports are yet to be confirmed leading both Chelsea and West Ham to reignite their interest in the talented goalscorer.

Austin, is highly rated by Blues boss Jose Mourinho and is said to be on a list of potential candidates to fill the void of Loic Remy, who is being linked with a move back to French football.
