Manchester United have offered Juventus the chance to sign Robin van Persie this summer, according to Tuttosport.

Van Persie has been a far shadow of himself at Old Trafford in the last 12 months, despite many believing he would prosper under former Netherlands national coach Louis van Gaal.

The former Arsenal striker has hit drastic form, scoring just 10 goals in all competitions last season.

Italian side Inter Milan have been interested, whilst a move to Fenerbahce has been reported with some claims stating that he has spoken to both Wesley Sneijder and Dirk Kuyt about life in Turkey.

The Dutch striker sat down with United officials at the end of last season to discuss next season and was told that he would have to settle for a place on the bench, unless his form improves.

And, that now seems to have prompted his exit, with United offering him to a number of clubs, including Champions League runners up Juventus.

Juve are keen to bolster their attacking options as they look set to lose Carlos Tevez.
