Spanish football expert Guillem Balague dosen’t think Real Madrid will make a move for Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero

The Argentine has been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital but isn’t currently on the club’s wish  list.

A strong pursuit of Manchester United keeper David De Gea would appear to be the primary objective for Los Blancos with a summer switch likely to be costly.

Balague told Sky Sports: “The plan is clear, to get David De Gea. There are no plans at the moment to get anybody as big as Aguero.”

Aguero has played out a superb season in the Premier League with Manchester City in which he clinched the Golden Boot with an impressive 26 goals from 33 appearances.

Writer’s view: I think a new goalkeeper has to be the priority for Real Madrid. With an already strong cast of attacking players, Aguero would appear to be a luxury signing and wouldn’t improve on what they already have.
