Real Madrid have dismissed rumours that they have bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba
Italian newspaper La Sampa published reports that the Spanish side were on the brink of launching an offer for the Frenchman.
The imminent departure of Sami Khedira means Los Blancos are on the market for a defensive midfielder.
A spokesman at Real Madrid stated the following: “We have had no contact either with Juventus or the player’s agent and as a consequence, the reports are completely false.”
Pogba has been heavily linked with many sides across Europe with Manchester City and Barcelona also expected to make summer bids.
The Midfielder has become one of the most highly regarded young players with an array of impressive performances that has helped Juve dominate Serie A and reach this years Champions League final.
