West Ham striker Andy Carroll is keen on a return to Newcastle, according to The Sun.

Carroll left his boyhood club for Liverpool in a £35million deal in 2011, after the Reds sold Fernando Torres to Chelsea for £50m. However, he struggled at Anfield before leaving for West Ham United for a smaller fee of £15m in 2013. Poor fitness and poor form has since resulted in him struggling for playing time at Upton Park and his future is once again in doubt as the summer transfer window approaches. The Sun now claim that the former England international is keen on a return to Newcastle claiming that he and pregnant fiancee Billi Mucklow want to relocate. Carroll was in the stands at St James' Park on Sunday to watch his old side confirm their Premier League status with a win over current side West Ham. The 26-year-old has made just 16 appearances for the Hammers this season, scoring five goals.
