Napoli have put a £42m price-tag on striker Gonzalo Higuain with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all believed to be interested in the Argentina international.

The Argentina international is set to leave Napoli at the end of the season, and a host of top clubs have been reported to be keen on landing his signature.

Serie A giants Juventus have apparently been holding talks with Higuain’s brother about a transition, but now reports suggest that he will look to leave Italian football and make a move to England.

A whole host of clubs have been linked with the former Real Madrid striker, but claims that he has been handed a £42m asking price are said to be causing problems.

The £57,000-a-week ace would cost that mount to sign, and it is thought that neither Arsenal or Man United are willing to pay that sort of figure.
