Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he does not mind who Petr Cech joins this summer.
The Czech Republic stopper spent over a decade as Chelsea’s number one but the return of Thibaut Courtois from a three-year loan spell has seen his seen resigned to a place on the bench.
Cech has since received interest from a number of European and Premier League clubs, having been available by the Blues for transfer at just £10m.
Chelsea’s final game of the season against Sunderland this weekend could be Cech’s last and Mourinho has openly now admitted that he has ‘no preference’ to which club the 33-year-old joins.
“He’s working hard to try to be fit,” Mourinho said in this morning’s press conference. “Today is the first session he does with the team. I keep saying I would like him to stay, I have no preferences if he leaves.”
Manchester United and Arsenal are leading with interest, with the latter keen to find a regular number one.
