Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky looks set to end his nine-year career with the Gunners and leave the club on a free transfer this summer, according to the Sun.

It has been reported that there are talks discussing a new contract to keep Rosicky at the club, but the 34-year-old is prepared to reject the offer and progress with his career elsewhere as he wants to secure first-team football.

Since arriving at the Emirates in 2006 from Borussia Dortmund in a £7m deal, Rosicky quickly endeared himself with the Arsenal fans, and the Czech Republic international is now one on the club’s longest-serving players.

Although only  starting just five games this season, Rosicky, according to reports, is not wanting to spend another year sitting on the bench.

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side are currently third in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 70 points, two points ahead of Manchester United in fourth.
