Barcelona forward Neymar has told Paul Pogba that he would welcome the Juventus midfielder with ‘open arms’ to the Camp Nou.

The French international has become subject to heavy interest from a number of top European clubs this season after further impressing in Serie A, in which he has helped Juve win three league titles.

Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea have been linked, whilst Barcelona have also made moves to sign the former Man United man.

Barca are banned from signing players until January but the Catalan side believe they can convince the midfielder to wait until then.

“How he would fit in I don’t know, but he is a great player and we would open the gates for him,” Neymar said at a sponsor’s press conference.

“He is a great star. He is still young – even younger than me I think – but I think a player with such quality is always welcome.”
