West Ham keen to sign Real Madrid and Blackburn strikers

West Ham are in the market for strikers this summer and Sam Allardyce is keen to sign Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez and Blackburn’s Rudy Gestede.

The Hammers are said to have already made tentative enquiries to Blackburn Rovers about the possibility of making a summer move for Gestede, who is valued at £7m.

The Benin striker has been in superb form this season, scoring 21 league goals and has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Sunderland, and Swansea City.

Meanwhile, Hernandez is expected to call time on his career with Manchester United after spending a season on loan with Real Madrid.

The Mexican, who is not thought to be part of Louis van Gaal’s plans at Old Trafford and will be made available for a relatively cheap price.

Hernandez has scored eight goals in 31 appearances for Real this season.
