Paul Pogba has been hot on Chelsea’s radar for sometime and with the summer transfer period looming is the Frenchman who Mourinho should be adding to his already skilled squad?

If Chelsea are prepared to pay the £74 million for Pogba where will he fit in at Chelsea? Naturally a centre defensive midfielder, Pogba at the age of 22 is already making a name for himself in Italy dubbed by some to be the ‘next big thing.’

Chelsea already have Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic and Ramires as centre defensive midfielders but reports are coming out of Europe that Oscar and Ramires could be apart of the deal to move Pogba to Stamford Bridge.

Barcelona are the latest club to show an interest in Pogba, but the Spaniards cannot make any signings until next year. Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich are also keen on signing the young Frenchmen so if Chelsea are serious about getting his signature they will need to be quick.

Oscar has recently said in an interview that he has no intention of leaving Chelsea FC, but if the price is right Mourinho might have no option.

Chelsea’s recent purchases have not been all successful as we have seen with Juan Cuadrado who hasn’t had much game time but when given a chance hasn’t had as big as an impact as thought originally.

If Chelsea get Pogba this could become another one of those cases and a player as big as Pogba is will mean he is looking for game time.
