Chelsea are ready to make a summer bid for Everton defender Seamus Coleman, according to various reports.
The 26-year-old is currently tied to the Merseyside club until 2019, but his consistent form this season has seen a number of big spending Premier League and European clubs show interest.
Valued at around £20m, Coleman is now on the radar of the Premier League champions Chelsea, with whom Jose Mourinho is keen to sign the defender as a back up to Cesar Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic.
The Irish international signed for Everton in 2009 from lowly Sligo Rovers and is on the verge of making his 150th appearances at the club.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has been linked to Barcelona defender Martin Montoya in recent weeks, who would be an instant replacement for Coleman, but it is understood that Liverpool have beaten their city rivals to the Catalan defender.
