Newcastle United have joined the transfer race for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie after reportedly indicating that they will pay a fee in the region of £15m, the Mirror reports.
Newcastle are eager to complete a deal for the DR Congo international, but will be facing tough competition for the winger as he has also attracted attention from other Premier League sides.
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form this term for the Eagles and this has sparked interest in a number of clubs.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have previously had links with the winger while Stoke and Everton are also believed to have a keen interest.
John Carver’s Newcastle side are currently fourteenth in the Barclays Premier League, with Crystal Palace in twelfth on 42 points.
