Man City attacker edges closer to Inter Milan move

Inter Milan are closing in on the summer signing of Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic.

The 25-year-old joined Premier League champions City from Fiorentina in 2013, but has made just 39 appearances in two seasons.

Matched with limited performances, the Montenegro international was omitted from City’s Champions League squad earlier this season after the signing of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City.

He has since been searching for a move away from the Etihad stadium, instructing his agent to offer his services to a number of Italian clubs, including Roberto Mancini’s Inter Milan.

And, it is now understood that the forward will join the San Siro oufit on an initial loan deal.

A buying option of £12m is expected to be included in the deal.
