Football Express News understands that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has penned his new look Chelsea starting eleven for next season.

The Blues sit top of the Premier League table and are odds on favourites to beat off the likes of Manchester City for the title this season.

However, never one to rest on his laurels, boss Mourinho has begun planning for next season, in which he hopes to guide his side to a Champions League title, something he failed to do during his first time at Stamford Bridge.

Thibaut Courtois is expected to continue as the club’s number 0ne after replacing Petr Cech this season, whilst Branislav Ivanovic, Cesar Azpilicueta and Kurt Zouma will remain in defence.

One added addition will be Real Madrid centre back Raphael Varane, who is expected to move to Chelsea in a £40m move after finding starting places hard to come by with the La Liga giants.

In midfield, Nemanja Matic will continue to protect the back four, whilst Mourinho is keen to make a summer move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke.

His signing would follow on from a double deal which involved Filipe Luis and Diego Costa last summer from the Spanish champions.

Mourinho has then informed owner Roman Abramovic that he would love to have a attacking midfield trio of Gareth Bale, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard, leaving Diego Costa as the lone striker.
