An alarming statistic from Sky Sports News has made David Moyes’ time at Old Trafford look better than assumed by Manchester United fans.
Moyes was replaced by Louis van Gaal over the summer after failing to guide United to European qualification and he has now taken the reigns at La Liga side Real Sociedad.
Much criticised and attacked for his management of United and relatively poor signings; one statistic that Moyes will use to promote his ability has been displayed by Sky Sports in an away form review this season.
Despite spending £150m on new players, Van Gaal’s side have won just three away games this season.
The most alarming statistic that stands out is the amount of goals scored this season, with Moyes’ side last term scoring almost double than Van Gaal’s.
The Dutch coach does have a number of games to better his record but question marks continue to be asked at Old Trafford.
